Acorns, Oaks, & Pines

5’9” x 3’11”,  # 6-hand-cut and hand-dyed and as-is wool on burlap for the hooking, and as-is wool for the braid.    Hooked, and braided by Kris McDermet, Dummerston, Vermont, 1986.  The hooked designs are from the Joan Moshimer Studio. Note the patterns created in the braid by choice of colors and the lacing.  Dark green braids frame the rug.
